I found this swing set headed for the land fill. I put a fresh paint job on it and turned it into a great new home for my gourd crop 2009. The seeds are in the ground.
The entrance hole is 1'1/4 it is for small birds the hole is small enough to where bigger birds cannot invade the nest. They all have holes in the bottom for draining and ventalation.

F.Y.I   Location,Location,Location birds are no different than people location is very critical to a bird and it's young. Birds do not like their residence to be in the middle of all the action, like a bird feeder or birdbath area. It brings attention to preditors and gets them noticed, but usually a bird won't take residence in this type of an environment. They want to be close to the feeder & ,bath area but just not to close, so give them privacy.

 To clean, I use a wire coat hanger cut and bent to fit in the entrance hole and work the old nest out. Holes are drilled in the bottom for ventalation and to let water drain if flooded,so the little guy's won't drown :-)

CREDIT CHECK is highly advisable, birds are known to take occupancy then flight after a few weeks with their young and leave you with a dirty house to clean. Try to get a cleaning deposit out of them before they move in :-)
