I sew unique and colorfull recycled shopping bags (out of bird seed,feed,food sacks) the sacks that are made of that polyfiber woven plastic stuff. Say no to the "Paper or Plastic" question for good. It's time to get rid of those bags that seem to congregate and secretly multiply under the sink.

The Shopping Bags are to be used over and over again, they are very durable and water resistant,just wipe clean if needed.

Large shopping Bags with double seam $19.95

Bird Seed Shopping Bags are available in different sizes smaller ones for produce/breads and the larger ones for heavy items. The sacks can hold 20lbs-45 lbs. the weight amount of the feed sack. Although a lot of the actual sacks were manufacured in China, most of the contents was grown here in the U.S not China,therefore the bags are recycled and kept out of our landfills. The bags are sewn locally here in South Austin not in China.
Say No Thank-You to "Paper or Plastic? " forever. Support the birds,the environment and local merchants all at the same time. What was the old saying something about killing two birds with one stone?? I never did get that one for obvious reasons, but this would be like saving two birds with one Shopping Bag?? :-)
This is a variety pack which fit inside each other to make an easy tote. It makes it easy to short your groceries all in one bag.
The Extra Large shopping Bag

This shopping bag was a fifty pound sack of bird food, it is the largest shopping bag I have. Very durable. The fifty pound sacks are hard to come by so if you have any I would very much appreciate your unwanted 50 pounders, you can drop them off at any of the locations mentioned above.
Here is a medium and a small size shopping bag, they are all unique and the flavors are always changing depending on the feed sacks I get. Always starts a conversation while waiting in line, please tell them where you got it!
Here is two smaller bags. I like to use the tall little ones for my celery,bushy greens, scallions etc. and the other for apples,oranges etc. that way you don't even have to indulge in those clear plastic bags in the produce department. You can walk out of the store with absolutley no plastic at all, it is a good feeling. The checkers love my bags.
Serious family size shopping bags. All bags are water resistant, just wipe clean if needed.
